Role Play Shopkeeper, or 'Kanjus Dukandar,'
is a game where kids act as a stingy shopkeeper.
It sets the scene for them to practice arithmetic in a comic way.
Materials
Pebbles, Jenga Blocks, or Handmade Paper Items
Price Tags for Each Item
LOTS of play money - ALL the play money should be made of "1 Rupee" notes. "10 Rupee notes" should just be 10 1 Rupee notes paper clipped together. "50 Rupee notes" should be a bunde of 50 1 rupee notes in a rubber band

Challanges
The shopkeeper's challenge is to make profit by asking for a higher price, or lowering the price to get the customer to buy more - for eg if you buy 2 I'll give you a 5 npr discount, while the customer's challenge is to avoid getting cheated!
Questions to be asked
Did you receive the exact number of items you asked for?
Is the calculation correct for the items you bought and sold?
How much will it be if I buy 2 or 3 or 5 (ie practice multiplication) - will you give me a discount?
If a set of 3 costs 6 rupees, how much will 1 cost (practice division) ?
What will you do if the shopkeeper is charging more than the marked price?
