Role-play Doctor is a fun and interactive activity where kids take on the roles of doctors and patients, acting out medical scenarios to learn basic first aid and caregiving skills
Divide the children into small groups of 5-7, with one doctore one nurse and one patient and other kids can be given their own roles of calling doctor, helping the victim etc. Begin with a story, such as a patient getting injured—maybe a nosebleed or a burn on the hand—and the doctors and nurses must respond quickly to help. Assign roles to each child as doctor, nurse, or patient, and provide simple props like bandages or toy stethoscopes. When a patient “gets hurt,” the children acting as doctors and nurses are asked what to do; they may try different solutions, some of which might be incorrect. Guide them to identify the right steps—for example, how to manage a nosebleed properly or care for a minor burn. Allow children to rotate roles so everyone experiences both caring and being cared for. Through this playful scenario, children learn empathy, basic first aid, teamwork, and problem-solving while having fun.
