Checklist

< ol>

  • Were the kids fitting thr puzzle pieces in the right place?
  • Was the level of challenge increased by starting with less number of pieces and then higher numbers?
  • how to play

Divide the children into small groups of 4-5. Begin with a story, such as helping explorers piece together a treasure map or completing a magical picture to unlock a secret, to spark imagination. Start by giving each group a puzzle with 15 pieces, and gradually increase the number of pieces as they succeed. Challenge them to complete each puzzle within a set time, encouraging them to observe shapes, colors, and patterns while experimenting with different placements. If children struggle, give hints such as: Which pieces have straight edges? Which colors or patterns might fit together? Allow enough time for trial and error, helping them develop problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, logical thinking, and time management in a fun, hands-on way.

    Challanges

    1. Match and connect the puzzle pieces together as per the reference given.

    Questions to be asked

    1. Why do you think the puzzle pieces fit or don't fit?
    2. Is it easier to start solving the puzzle from the corners, edges, or the middle?
    3. Do the pictures or patterns on your connected pieces match the reference image?
    4. Which puzzle is left to do from the bunch of puzzles you have done?
